HOUSEBOUND earns major accolades after World Premiere at SXSW (08 Apr 2014)

"Housebound is a breath of fresh air for the often stale haunted-house genre; a smart, finely acted, appropriately silly and yet totally sincere horror movie made for people who have seen it all and want something a little different”
Peter Hall – Movies.com

"Sometimes you walk into a room knowing nothing, sit down, and get your skull punched in by a movie that is calibrated perfectly, that knows exactly what it wants to do, and that seems almost unnaturally confident considering it was made by a first-time feature director"
Drew McSweeney – Hitfix

"Housebound manages to balance consistent, fantastic comedy with a properly eerie mystery and what should be a star-making turn from lead Morgana O’Reilly"
Samuel Zimmerman – Fangoria

"Housebound's corkscrew mystery sprints from revelation to revelation with such enthusiasm and comedic energy, you just sit there grinning like a big dummy"
John Gholson – Badass Digest

“Quickly tears apart the classic haunted-house movie piece by piece, and then reconstructs it on the fly with fresh new materials, garnished with oodles of blood, dark comedy, strong characters, and genuine suspense”
Peter Martin – Twitch Film

“A wonderful Scooby-Doo yarn through the filter of a dysfunctional indie-family-comedy that defies expectations and bursts with life and joy and energy”
Horror-Movies.ca

“Routinely upends your expectations, revealing itself to be a different kind of genre film than it began and saving its terrifically gory carnage until its bonkers finale”

Matt Barone – Complex Magazine

”Housebound is the real discovery of the (SXSW) festival".
Ryan Turek – Shock til you Drop
